Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of DVN Links (the "Service") available at dvnlinks.pl, operated by Digital Vantage, Andriollego 34, 05-400 Otwock, Poland, VAT ID PL5321813962.

1. Definitions

  • Service - the DVN Links URL shortening platform
  • User - any individual or legal entity using the Service
  • Link - a shortened URL created through the Service
  • Account - an individual User account in the Service

2. Acceptance of Terms

By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree to any provision, please discontinue use of the Service.

3. Services

The Service enables:

  • URL shortening
  • QR code generation for shortened links
  • Click statistics tracking
  • Link management through user dashboard
  • Choosing a shortening domain from those operated by the Service, according to the purchased plan
  • Access to the REST API (paid plans)

4. Acceptable Use Policy

Users agree to use the Service in compliance with applicable laws and these Terms. Creating links to the following content is strictly prohibited:

  • Pornographic, erotic, or adult content
  • Gambling and betting websites
  • Drug-related content and controlled substances
  • Illegal weapons sales
  • Pirated content (movies, music, software)
  • Phishing sites and malware
  • Content promoting hatred, violence, or discrimination
  • Financial fraud schemes (pyramid, Ponzi)
  • Content infringing copyrights or trademarks
  • Any content illegal under Polish or international law

The Service employs automated filtering systems (including Google Safe Browsing API) to detect and block prohibited content. The Administrator reserves the right to remove links or block accounts without notice in case of policy violations.

5. User Responsibility

Users are fully responsible for:

  • Content of destinations their created links point to
  • Any damages caused to third parties through use of the Service
  • Maintaining confidentiality of Account credentials
  • Compliance with applicable laws when using the Service

6. Limitation of Liability

The Service is not responsible for content that User-created links point to. We do not guarantee:

  • Uninterrupted Service availability
  • Absence of errors or technical issues
  • Achievement of specific business results
  • Security of destination pages of created links

Maximum liability of the Service to Users is limited to fees paid by the User in the preceding 12 months.

7. Plans and Payments

The Service offers a free basic plan and paid plans with additional features. Details available on the pricing page.

  • Payments are processed through Stripe
  • Subscriptions renew automatically
  • Cancellation is possible at any time
  • Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis

8. Data Protection

Personal data processing is conducted in accordance with our Privacy Policy and GDPR regulations. Details are available in the Privacy Policy document.

9. Intellectual Property

All rights to the Service, including logo, interface, source code, and documentation, belong to DVN Links. Users receive only a license to use the Service in accordance with these Terms.

10. Termination

Users may delete their Account at any time. The Administrator may:

  • Suspend Accounts upon suspected Terms violation
  • Delete Accounts without notice for serious policy violations
  • Delete inactive free Accounts after 12 months of inactivity

11. Changes to Terms

The Administrator reserves the right to modify these Terms. Users will be notified of significant changes via email with 14 days advance notice.

12. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by Polish law. Disputes will be resolved by the court competent for the Administrator's registered office, subject to consumer rights to choose jurisdiction.
